One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke from troubled dreams, he found himself transformed in his bed into a horrible vermin. He lay on his armour-like back, and if he lifted his head a little he could see his brown belly, slightly domed and divided by arches into stiff sections.
The bank with its headquarters at Amuana-Praso in the Eastern Region, already has branches in Nkawkaw, Asuboni, New Abirem, Koforidua, Asankare and Obogu.

Mr. George Osei Ameyaw, the Board Chairman, indicated that it had been doing well and said all the performance indicators were positive.

He underlined its determination to introduce innovative products that would meet the needs of customers.

He added that the bank was going to provide support to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to help them to thrive – to create jobs and wealth for the people.

Mr. Ameyaw encouraged the people to do business with it and assured them that their money would be in safe hands.

He said they were in Konongo to bring quality banking services to the population.

Mrs. Susan Akomeah, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), said the bank was welcomed to the municipality and the expectation was that it would aid the growth of businesses.

Konongo, she said, was a nerve center of commerce and that the bank’s move was strategic – would enable it to significantly increase its market share.

She gave the assurance that the assembly in line with the government’s vision, would create an enabling environment for the private sector to flourish.
